Holmegaard Forma Bowl, Clear, 8"

With its heavy sculptural constructions in solid glass, Forma is a product series with roots in the historic Bauhaus era, where shapes such as cubes, balls and cylinders function as the primary grips. Forma holds the same graphic strength in the form of massive geometric shapes that intersect with each other. The strong design language works with the negative space around the construction and thus how the brain reads the fusion of shapes. The bowl has a diameter of 8.2" is made of clear pressed glass. The glass has a textured surface on each side, which provides a subtle contrast to the very strict geometric shapes. The bowl stands beautifully as a sculptural and decorative centerpiece or put together with the other Forma products.
