A Modern Classic, Reimagined

The modern classic from 1963 remains unchanged. Instead, a new material composition combining two treatments of oak creates a dialogue between past and present. The table becomes a quiet expression of Brdr. Krüger’s evolution as a family-owned Danish furniture maker, with enduring design, quality and materials at its core.

Two Expressions of Oak

The light, oiled oak highlights the material’s warm character, while the darker, fumed oak creates a complementary and playful contrast. The dark tone is achieved through a traditional fuming process that reacts naturally with the tannins in the oak, without the use of dye or stain.

Connecting Past and Future

The light and dark tones are not opposites, but different expressions of the same material, connecting what came before with what comes next.
