Hand-woven rug Just as the shades are kept in natural and muted tones, the stripes in this design are soft and vibrant. The Svalin carpet's subtle, understated balance makes it striking or discreet, depending on what the interior requires. It is handwoven with New Zealand wool using a distinctive technique that provides volume and durability. The linen chain creates the slightly blurred stripes in the twill weave, and the mix of soothing green, beige and gray tones subtly changes with the play of light and the surroundings.
