Bow Chair is a comfortable armchair with a quietly clever construction. Its back and armrests are shaped from one single piece of moulded oak plywood, cut much the way a tailor cuts a pattern from cloth.

That curved shell rests on a simple A-frame of oak dowels, and because the plywood flexes slightly, the back gives a little as you lean into it. The seat is generously wide, with a rounded waterfall front edge that is kind to the back of the legs. Assembly screws are tucked out of sight to keep the outline clean.

Designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin of Industrial Facility and made entirely of oak, in Matt lacquer or Black lacquer. Leave it bare, or add a seat cushion in Spoor leather, LEAP® or Kvadrat Hallingdal wool.

Like all TAKT furniture, it is made from FSC®-certified wood, carries the EU Ecolabel and is delivered flat-packed as separate components, so any worn part can be replaced rather than the whole piece.
