Soft Chair by Thomas Bentzen is a modern take on the stick chair and Shaker furniture traditions, with a tight frame and soft curves in the seat and back.

The seat and backrest are moulded veneer that appears to drape over the solid oak frame like cloth, and those double curves strengthen the construction. Every component is visible and part of the chair's calm, honest expression.

This version is oak with an oil finish, which ages into a warm patina and can be renewed again and again with light sanding and fresh oil.

Like all TAKT furniture, it is made from FSC®-certified wood, carries the EU Ecolabel and is delivered flat-packed as separate components, so any worn part can be replaced rather than the whole piece.
