Arcus Shelf is designed by Nanna Aakjær Svendsen, drawing significant inspiration from her grandfather Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen. The purpose of Arcus Shelf was to create a shelf that, beyond its functionality, would also function as a piece of art in itself.

The shelves share the same design language and incorporate old craftsmanship techniques. Something Nanna Aakjær particularly drew inspiration from her grandfather is a classic chamfered edge, seen on several of Jørgen Aakjær's coffee tables from the 1950s. The edge has been given a new function as a beautiful finishing touch to the shelves. The organic shapes of the shelves make them a natural part of the wall when mounted.

Arcus Shelf is available in three different sizes and offers multiple possibilities for use. Use the shelf as a classic picture ledge, a practical storage shelf, or as a sculptural expression in harmony with the home's other pictures and wall art.

Arcus Shelf was designed by Nanna Aakjær Svendsen, with great inspiration from her grandfather Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen. The purpose of the Arcus Shelf was to create a shelf which, in addition to having a function, should function as a piece of art in itself.

The shelves have the same style and also contain the old craft techniques. Something that Nanna Aakjær has been particularly inspired by by her maternal grandfather is a classic scalloped edge, which can be seen on several of Jørgen Aakjær's coffee tables from the 1950s. The edge has been given a new function, as a beautiful end to the shelves. The organic shapes of the shelves mean that they become a natural part of the wall when they are hung up.

We recommend mounting the Shoe Rack to the wall with the metal brackets included. The shoe rack can however lean against the wall without mounting. We wanted to design a space-saving piece of furniture for the hallway that could hold shoes and form a small console table. The piece has been built intentionally relatively high to facilitate its fullest expression and create a visible space between the shoes.

This danish designed coat rack expands the range of the conventional hallway wardrobe by it very minimal design. It fits perfectly in most hallways and you can use it for towels and soft robes in your bathroom. 

The steel frame of the rack is simple, elegant and stable. Grid Coat Stand is available in black and white powder coated steel. Hallway furniture is about packing function into a small space, and therefore we have made it relatively small while it still can accommodate a range of clothing and is robust enough to last. As we bring our winter coats out of retirement, hallways can end up cluttered with the layers we pile on for the season.
